Hi-Rail Trenching Services

We perform hi-rail trenching with our 6t Yanmar VIO 55-5 hi-rail excavator. Hi-rail trenching is trenching along or beside a railway line with a hi-rail vehicle – a vehicle that can perform on tyres or attach to a railway. These vehicles are useful for trenching jobs with no road access or very little space around the rail to operate. We provide hi-rail trenching with our Yanmar VIO 55-5 across New South Wales.

Trenching with a Ditch Witch

We supply all sizes of ride-on Ditch Witch trenchers from 45s to 125s. These include:

  • The 1470kg RT45, best for trenching 1.2-1.5m trenches
  • The 2545kg RT55, best for trenching in tough terrain and tight landscapes
  • The RT80, best for heavy-duty trenching and vibratory ploughing
